Who we are

We are a Pentecostal Ministry with an Apostolic mantle. Jesus came on this Earth to seek that which was lost. Since the world is not our place to stay for ever, we are ambassadors of Jesus Christ representing heavenly Kingdom on this Earth. We are not shamed of the gospel. We are sent to preach to all creatures as the Bible says.

Our call is to restore apostolic mantle in the body of Jesus Christ. the body of Jesus Christ has been wounded everywhere. Many believe lost the focus of the Cross. We want the cross to be the determining factor to our lives. Many servants of Go have planted groves on their Alters. There is no difference between alters of Satan and the alters of the devil.

We speak the same language.  Someone can not tell the counterfeit and the real. We have brought the world into the church. Our prayer is to ask our Heavenly Father to forgive the church. May God do something in our Christian life. May the Spirit of God open our hearts so that we can be used by our dear heavenly Father.

Brethren we are hear fighting the devil not human beings. We want to be a solution to the lives of God’s people who have been taken into captivity. Our vision as you can see is to go to neglected places where many servants of God have not reached to tell them that God loves them. Our call is to touch all the despised vessels.

If God’s people can be lifted spiritually they will move from one glory to another. What we lack in this generation is the teaching of the true what of God. We have moved for the things which please the flesh than the things which please the Spirit of God in us. Believers are running from one place to another searching for Miracles than searching for Miracle giver, the creator of the universe.

 My cry to the saints of God is, can we please go back to the cross and repent for God to have mercy upon the nations of the world. Do we real know the God we are serving. The devil has been there for more than humanity. So is we are not careful he knows all the tactics.

If we seek for the kingdom of God first then all what we need shall be added unto us. The devil is lounging at the church because of the fights. God never called us to fight one another.  But the devil is happy when he sees brethren fighting. We pray that God touches his servants wherever they are so that we can join hands together to destroy the works of the enemy. Am sure if we can capitulate to God He will do something for us.

  OUR VISION

Our vision is to hear the word of God, we get it into our hearts, we then preach it as it is in the Bible from house to house, making those who believe Disciples of Jesus Christ for them to become His Ambassadors, and then all of us, we come together to make Him known to every creature starting from Matopeni to all parts of the world through all available means by the help of the Holy Spirit.

OUR MISSION

Is to reach all God’s people in Matopeni then to the entire nations of the world. Making them understand the Love of Jesus Christ and His healing power in all areas of life Spiritually, Emotionally, Psychologically and financially as commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ, in the Book of  Luke 14:47 With my authority take his message of repentance to all nations of the world beginning from Jerusalem; There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me and will become be witnesses of all these things.

OUR PASTORS

PASTOR EVANS GICHANA KEBUNGO

  Pastor Evans Gichana Kebungo is the founder of Soft Voice Mission Ministry. He is our senior pastor. My name is Evans Gichana the elder son of the late Henry Kebungo and Sabina Kemunto.

I was born in a village called Bomesichi Nyabisia sub location, Masige west Sub location Nyamache division Gucha District Nyanza province Kenya. I come from a family of nine. Seven brothers and two sisters in this family. A m the elder son in that family. My father used to be a driver my mother was a house wife.

EDUCATION

My learning was so intricate. Since my parents were not born again, they were drunkards; they made me to loose hope in my life I also became a drunkard like them. I started drinking local brew while in school at a very young age. I sat for my Kenya certificate of Primary Examination in the year 1991.  I did not pass very well but I had to join a local secondary school.

At secondary life became worst to me. I continued with my drinking habit. No teacher could control me. I had become an addict. My life was wretched. But I believe I was in God’s making. I sat for my forth form Examination. During examination time I did not know what I was doing. Everyday of examination I was drunk. I did not know what I wrote on the papers. I did not pass my examination. This was dissuasion to me.

MY LIFE AFTER SCHOOL

To me it was a pathetic life. I came out of school without knowing what to do. I joined other failures. Everybody loathed me. I could never raise a point in the midst of people. People could come to my parents just persuading them to tell me to come out of my drinking habit. But my father could tell them, I believe one day one time my son will stop drinking and become a wonderful son this society.

My father was saying all this but He was a drunkard. My aunt‘s husband was working in a sugar company. She persuaded him to allow me to live with him. He accepted. I started staying with him. My character never changed. That is the time I joined a band we started singing local music in bars. I left my uncle and went to stay independently.

Brethren this is the time I got the freedom I wanted. it was the time when I saw hell. I could not cook because the brew could not allow me. I left that place and went to stay with my cousin in a city called Kisumu.  Things were the same in Kisumu

HOW I GOT SAVED

One day I went to drink the normal brew. I left there drunk. But I thank God this was my day. It was on 6^th October 1995 as I was coming from the house where I was enjoying myself. I found a servant of God called pastor Wilfred Lai Of Redeemed Gospel Church having a crusade in popular ground in Kisumu. Be because I was a musician I listened to the Gospel music my mind was captured by the music. I started dancing differently from believers. I heard the man of God calling me. Young man I know where you have come from. I rebuke the Spirit of drunkenness from you. I became sober. He called me and started prophesying to me. He said. Young man, the Lord has told me that you are His servant. you will preach the Gospel from one nation to nation. I did not understand. I told Him no, because I knew who I was. I told Him, Pastor, I am a Catholic, I know the process of becoming a priest. But right there he started calling me servant of God.  it is not something that will happen today but it is something that will take time.

I continued going to church everyday. I found myself in serving God. it was something that came to me that I am a servant. from that time God has elevated me in many ministries in the church. I became a member of praise and worship. in the year 1996. In that same year I was appointed Evangelism leader in the church. in the year 1997 I became youth leader. In the year 1998 I was appointed schools and colleges leader.

  IN NAIROBI LIBERT CHRISTIAN CENTER AN MINISTRY O REDEEMED GOSPEL CHURCH

What I was doing in Kisumu when I came to Nairobi in the year 2000 I continued doing it up to 2002. In the year 2002 to 2003 July 12^thI joined School Of Christ International. I receive a certificate in Pastoral and Missionary course. 2003 after graduation I I joined Maximum Miracle Centre where i was one of the branch Pastor my dad passed away in 1995. I left Karumandi I joined Fire Gospel International. I was an associate Pastor, Music Pastor, Women and Youth co-coordinator.

Last year 2000 God gave me a vision to come out of Fire Gospel International To open A Ministry. I obeyed the voice of God and opened this ministry at Matopeni where we rejoice together.

MARITAL STATUS

Pastor Evans is married to Pastor Resper Kananu. They wedded on 21 April 20078.  on 08/08/08 God blessed them with a daughter whose name is:

Joyce Comfort

At the Moment pastor Evans And pastor Resper are taking care of two kids.

  Nelly Wanja.  6 years old

Keith Baraka.   4years old

They found them when they were very small but now Nelly is 6 years old and Keith is now four years. We have shown them love until they have become like our kids. We please need your prayers and if God tells you to support us please do it and we serve God’s children. Thank and God bless you

PASTOR RESPER KANANU GICHANA

  Pastor Resper Kananu Gichana is the wife of our senior pastor Evans Gichana Kebungo

PASTOR DANIEL IVITA KIMEU

Pastor Daniel Ivita Kite is our assistant pastor in Soft Voice Mission Ministry. Pastor Daniel Ivita Kimeu was born on 17^thApril 1971 in a moderate family of nine children. His father was a civil servant working for the government of Kenya. Pastor Kimeu got his primary education in Nairobi He sat for his KPCE. He joined Ofafa Jericho High school in 1986 up to 1990 where he sat for his fourth form Examination.

CALLING

Pastor Kimeu was called at the age of 14 years old under Apostle Joseph Kayo through a vision at night. He has been serving God from that time up to now.

BURDEN IN MINISTRY

To liberate God’s people from sickness and diseases. Especially H.I.V. infected , counseling the affected and infected showing them  Hope in God.

  JUSTIFICATION

Pastor Daniel got married his wife Ann Aloo in 2005 with one daughter who was adopted by Pastor Daniel, her name is

Kelsey Ivita.

The wife was H.I.V. positive. They lived together for a period of 2 years. God blessed them with a male child but for a short while the child passed away. His wife passed away in 2007 with H.I.V positive. She left Pastor Daniel Ivita Kimeu with a daughter that he adopted from her. . They were discordant couples. The wife was an orphan with nobody to take care of her. Pastor Daniel having compassion and faith he took a risk and married her with that condition. To date pastor Daniel and the daughter Kelsey are alive and not infected by the grace of God. They have been checked and the result has been negative throughout. This family has greatest testimony of what God has done to them. They have a reason to called God their Father.

AMBITION

To fulfill the great commission as it is written in the Bible in the book of Mark 16:15-20.

RESOLUTION

We call for you to partner with us as we lift the Body of Jesus Christ together with Pastor Evans Gichana Kebungo of Soft Voice Mission Ministry to fight the four greatest enemies of the church.  We are ministering namely;

1.     Poverty

2.     Sickness and diseases

3.     Illiteracy

4.     Disunity  in Church
